• Served Member/Secretary of the International Affairs Board of the I.I.A.

• Presently one of the Trustee members of the Indian Institute of Architects.

• Recipient of the Outstanding I.I.A. Member award in 2010 and again on 2013.

• Represented I.I.A in all the International conferences since 2002.

• Member of the Professional Service Committee, ARCASIA(Architects Regional Council of Asia).

AR. EDILBERTO F. FLORENTINO

Chairman, Committee on Ethics

United Architects of the Philippines

Edilberto F. Florentino, one of the principal architects of E. Florentino3+ Associates, is a product of the Mapua Institute of Technology which recognized him as the Outstanding Mapuan in Architecture in 1992. Later, he attended post-graduate studies at the University of the Philippines, as an honorific scholar crossed enrolled in Civil Engineering on Structural Sciences.

 

As then President of the League of the Philippines Architects, he was one who initiated the Negotiating Panel which lead the establishment of United Architects of the Philippines. He was Member of the Board of Architecture from 1993- 1994 and was chosen the Outstanding Professional of the year 2002 in the field of Architecture by the Philippine Regulation Commission.

 

Arch. Florentino is Past Chancellor of the College of Fellows of UAP, Past President of UAP-Quezon City Chapter and has been continuously involved in legislation for the profession, having worked towards the legislative approval of “Architecture Act of 2004”. Today he is an Accredited Arbitrator and Mediator of the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission.

 

Aside of being an architect of note, he is also a licensed and registered Environmental Planner. He is a holder of fourteen (14) approved patents on building technology.

 

Having received numerous awards and citations, in 2006 he was bestowed the UAP LIKHA Gold Medal, the highest award given to a UAP member by the Integrated Accredited Professional Organization for Architect, (IAPOA) and in 2012 the Gawad Gintong Likha at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

 

On February 27, 2019 he was cited as “Pioneer Architect and conferred Hon.FRI by the Royal Institution Singapore’’.

Ma. Luisa Daya-Garcia, Principal Architect of LDG Architects, is one of the country’s leading green architectural resource expert consultants. Her penchant for environmental sustainability has brought her diverse green projects, bagging the title Queen of Green and a prestigious recognition by BCI Asia for the Green Leadership Award.

 

As an alumna of Lund Universitet, Sweden, she took the path to advocate sustainability, which led her to become an associate of the American Institute of Architects, and one of the first BERDE  Certified Professionals in the Philippines. With these, her passion to share her international knowledge on sustainability has led her to become one of the founding members of the active Green Architecture Advocacy Philippines.

 

Her passion to advocate her practice led her to collaborate with other experts in the same field, locally and internationally. That being said, LDG Architects has already expanded and broadened their expertise with regards to their field and is now known to be a leading specialist in green design services.

ATTY. GILBERT RAYMUND T. REYES

Atty. GILBERT RAYMUND T. REYES received his Bachelor of Science degree and his Certificate in Military Science from the University of the Philippines in 1979. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the same university in 1983, graduating magna cum laude. He was a member of the Order of the Purple Feather, the honor society of the U.P. College of Law. He served as chapter director of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines in 1990. He was a director of the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines in 1991. He was a Professorial Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law at the U.P. College of Law. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Gamma Mu international honor societies. His fields of legal practice are Civil, Commercial and Criminal Litigation, Industrial and Intellectual Property Law, Real Property Law, Labor Law, Corporate Law, Insurance, Family Law, Commercial Arbitration and Admiralty. He has been consistently named as a leading individual for Dispute Resolution by Asia’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Asialaw Profiles, Legal 500 (Asia Pacific) and Which Lawyer?
