United Colors of the World Costume Contest

(Updated guidelines as of February 16, 2017)

​

1. The contest is open to all UAP Chapters comprising of registered delegates to the UAP 43rd National Convention.

 

2. Each Area will have their assigned continent where the chapters can choose their country to represent:

          

Area A = Asia (except Japan)

Area B = Europe

Area C = North America & Canada

Area D = South America

3. To register, chapters must go and like our Facebook page UAP Natcon 43. 

Leave a comment on the post stating your selected country and chapter name to prevent repetitive entries.

 

4. Each participating Chapter must be:

 

a. Composed of 6-10 registered delegates.

b. In Full National costume of the country being represented at the start of the Fellowship Night.

c. Holding a flag/flaglet of the country being represented.

 

5. Registration will start at 6 PM and will close at 7 PM.  All participants must proceed to the registration booth located outside the main function room for photo op and pre-judging.

 

6. Finalists will be selected among the registered entries and will  be announced at the program proper. They will each be given a 2 minute long presentation to be able to showcase their respective costumes. Cash prizes await the winners.

 

7. Criteria for judging for the Best United Colors of the Word Costume Contest

are as follows:

 

Adherence to the country being represented         30%

Creativity and Costume/props                               30%

Effort                                                                  20%

Over all Appeal                                             20%

Total                                                                 100%
