The Escolta Tour would be an opportunity to see the revitalization efforts of the Escolta Commercial Association Inc. (ECAI) as evidenced through a walking tour of this historic commercial district and a number of its important heritage buildings. The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts is a modern architectural masterpiece that showcases innovation in education as evidenced by its design and program. As a school offering various programs in the design and arts realm, it is housed in a vertical campus designed by Ar. Eduardo Calma. Architecture is one among many programs which co-share various learning and activity spaces in this facility.

A walking tour of INTRAMUROS would provide a glimpse of our rich colonial heritage during the Spanish period in our nation’s history. •Walking tour of Calle Real •Manila Cathedral •San Agustin Church •Casa Manila

A walking tour of NATIONAL MUSEUM would provide a glimpse of our rich cultural heritage as seen through the various collections of this national institution of culture. The tour would also feature recent additions to this neo-classical American period architectural icon.
TOUR GUIDELINES:
Architects must be registered and is a delegate to the UAP 43rd National Convention.
The tours are free of charge but can only accommodate a maximum number of 100 slots each tour on a
first-come-first-served basis.

Sign up for the tours online by clicking the REGISTER button below. If slots are still available by convention day, registration will continue by manual sign up until 5:00 p.m. of NatCon Day 2, April 28, 2017, at the Tour Registration Counter.
Tours will be on Day 3, Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and meeting place will be at the
SMX Ground Floor Lobby. Registered tour participants are expected to be at the meeting place by 1:30 pm.
While the specified attire is casual, it is requested from the participants to please refrain from wearing shorts, sando and slippers.
